Terms of Service

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 12, 2026

WalletExplain provides educational and informational content only. Nothing on this website should be considered financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WalletExplain.com (the “Service”), operated by an individual software developer (“Operator”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Educational and Informational Use Only

WalletExplain is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The Service analyzes publicly available blockchain data and presents summaries in plain language. It is not a substitute for professional financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

2. No Investment Advice

Nothing on WalletExplain constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency, token, NFT, or other asset. You are solely responsible for your own research and decisions.

3. Assumption of Risk

Cryptocurrency and digital assets are highly volatile and speculative. You acknowledge that:

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service where prohibited by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Accuracy and Availability

Blockchain data comes from third-party APIs and public ledgers. AI summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

7. Free Tier and Future Paid Features

The MVP may include usage limits (e.g., free reports per day per IP). The free tier is provided at no charge. Free-tier users are not entitled to any monetary compensation or damages from the Operator — see Section 10. Paid plans (website or future mobile app subscriptions) will be billed on a monthly basis unless otherwise stated; liability for paid users is capped at the monthly subscription fee. We may modify features, limits, or pricing with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Intellectual Property

The WalletExplain name, branding, website design, software, and content (excluding public blockchain data) are owned by the Operator or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates OpenAI, Moralis, Supabase, Vercel, and other providers. Your use may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or data practices beyond our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or crypto assets, arising from your use of the Service.

Free-tier users: The Service is offered free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not owe free-tier users any monetary compensation, refunds, or damages. No liability cap or payment amount applies to free use — free users acknowledge they use the Service entirely at their own risk with no monetary recourse.

Paid subscribers (including future website or mobile app subscription plans): Our total aggregate monetary liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the monthly subscription fee you paid in the billing month in which the claim arose. If no fee was paid for that period, the free-tier terms above apply.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your investment or trading decisions.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms, abuse, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Operator’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
